We are a group of professional business women looking to make meaningful connections with other influential females. We intend to foster relationships based on mutual interests that are distinct to women.

Mahwah Bar & Grill (2 Island Rd, Mahwah, NJ.) We have a closed door, separate room in the restaurant. Usually seated in a U-shaped format so everyone can see each other, it is a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant provides our group with several options for lunch and are very accommodating to people with special requests/needs. We are centrally located to be accessible to both Bergen and Rockland county business women.

To build and maintain a group like-minded business women who understand the value of networking and giving back to others. We aim to get to know each other on a deeper, more personal level and be a wonderful wellspring of resources for our group.

JULIE BELARDINELLI,  Independent Wine Ambassador with The Boisset Collection – St. Bonaventure University graduate with a BBA in Marketing. Also attended Pace University’s graduate program and earned an MBA in Finance. My former careers –Asst Portfolio Manager at Citibank’s Private Bank in NYC, Jr. Equity Analyst at Prudential Securities and a Financial Advisor at American Express.  I have also earned my intermediate and advanced certificates in wines and spirits from the International Wine Center in NYC through the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). They provide globally recognized education and qualifications in wines/spirits.

I have been a Boisset Collection Wine Ambassador for the last 5 years.  I bring people together through shared experiences with wine. As your personal wine concierge, I bring the winery tasting room experience to homes, businesses, and special events — along with unique access to small-lot, limited production and exclusive wines. With an evolving portfolio of over 100 different limited production, premium wines, it’s the only way to taste before you buy without visiting the wineries themselves.

This OLC Women’s group is uniquely valuable  because women understand and like to work with other women. We build relationships and network differently and love to be able to help people with advice, guidance, resources, or just to lend a helping hand. We are not just a business card exchange – we really want to get to know each other. This women’s group seems to have a firm grasp on this concept.

Networking is a necessity in today’s world. If we can focus on learning, identifying common interests, offering something valuable to others and give back – this is what networking should look like. If I can help others understand this than networking becomes extremely valuable. -Julie Belardinelli
